The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences which is responsible for organizing the Oscar Awards annually, has recently invited new members from various countries. It is a matter of great pride for India that veteran actor Anupam Kher and filmmakers Anurag Kashyap and Zoya Akhtar are among the new members who have been invited by the organization. The trio happen to be among the 842 members who are now a part of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
