There have been several reports over the casting of leading lady opposite Ranveer Singh in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy.
Firstly, there were talks that Alia Bhatt, who is been seen on television commercials with Ranveer has been approached for the role. Then it was said that Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan might make her debut with this musical.
