Actor Ridhima Sud, who debuted with Zoya Akhtar's quintessential family drama 'Dil Dhadakne Do' earlier in the year, seems to have bagged herself a role in Reema Kagti's 'Mr. Chaalu' which also stars Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan in the lead.
In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, Ridhima revealed, "Yes! I am very excited about the film and have finished a reading for it."
The actress has also bagged herself a role in John Abraham's next production 'Satra Ko Shaadi Hai' which features Barun Sobti and Harshvardhan Rane in the lead.
"It's not a love the actor in the lead. “It's not a love story, but a full-fledged wedding melodrama,“ she says, adding that she plays Cookie Hirani, a bindaas Bombay kudi, who's been dragged to a particular wedding in Bhopal and mayhem fol lows. “I am paired opposite Harshvardhan Rane and I never knew he was such a big heartthrob down South. TV star Barun Sobti too is a part of the cast, and I never knew the amount of fan-following he had either.I thought these boys were nobodies."
She is indeed on a roll!
